Art Brokerage is proud to represent the artwork of Russian artist Valery Klever. Valery Klever was born in the Soviet Union and immigrated to the United States. By the early 1970's Klever was a famous painter and very distinguished in the art circles within the Soviet Union. Klever emigrated with his family from Leningrad in 1977, and lived in Maine, new York, and Los Angeles. Valery Klever studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Saint Petersburg Klever is one of four artists who participated in a recent exhibition in the Fred Kavli Theatre Art Gallery. When the iron curtain fell in 1986 and perestroika began, Klever was able to return to Russia to retrieve many pieces of art that he wasn't able to take with him when he emigrated. Klever now lives in the U.S.
