Carol Dyer is an accomplished painter of early American traditions. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she now resides in Maryland where she paints full time. She is well known for her "Washington Christmas Series." These paintings of historic buildings in our nation’s capitol have commanded significant audiences throughout this country and abroad. Carol has exhibited extensively throughout the Mid-Atlantic area and is currently working on a major national project for the Mystic Seaport Museum painting historic harbors. She has completed Baltimore, Boston, Alexandria, New Orleans, and New York harbor views. Carol Dyer was commissioned by the Easport Yacht Club in Annapolis to do the rendition of their famous Lights Parade of Boats during the Christmas season. Over 15 of her paintings have been published as limited edition prints. Carol’s works can be found in the Smithsonian, Library of Congress, and Mount Vernon museum shops as well as private and corporate collections.
